Damien Hirst says of Art Wars: “I saw a cartoon where a Stormtrooper is sat in a chair with his head in his hands looking depressed with a thought bubble coming out if his head saying “those were the droids we were looking for”. So many people today can find that funny and it really shows you how massively all encompassing and ubiquitous Star Wars is.”
Various performances and installations can be viewed on artwars.net and include ‘Tate Storm’ 2008 where Moore entered the Tate Modern and stood uninterrupted for over 4 hours convincing visitors and staff that he was a piece of sculpture.
